I’m not into politics, never have been, never will be.
But …I am a business owner, so unfortunately I am massively impacted by what decisions the party in power makes at any one time …and the money that I pay in tax will go to support whichever area the empowered group supports or wants to encourage.
Whilst I say I’m not ‘into politics’ …I am beginning to see some patterns in what goes on…and what they get away with.
Go back a few months and we all hated the Conservatives.
We literally could not wait to see Rishi and his band of reprobates kicked out of office.
The sun was rising on a new dawn of prosperity with a Labour government …and all would be well.
Today, it appears the sun has gone down again and we all hate Labour ….and Sir Keir is getting some real stick for what he’s about to do with the budget proposals that we’re all having leaked to us daily so that we don’t all die of shock.
All of you who voted Labour and are now hating Labour because of the tax increases…where did you think the funding was going to come from?
There appears to be a cycle of ‘love and hate’ with the politicians and we seem to fall for it every time. Once a party is in power they all act the same way – taking freebies, helping their friends and generally going to see Taylor Swift concerts with police escorts ….and hoping we won’t notice.
Duuuh
We seem to allow the party in power to f**k up big time, then get voted out – allowing the new party to come in – slag them off and tell us that it will take millions to put right what the previous party messed up.
Then, the incumbent party f**ks up – gets voted out and it starts all over again.
NOBODY ever stays in power and has to sort out the mess they’ve made.
David Cameron thinks it’s a good idea to have a referendum on staying in Europe – then once the votes in – he resigns.
There seems to be a lack of responsibility for making decisions – and then having to live with the consequences.
Wouldn’t it be great, if as a business owner you could cock up – then say – ooops I’m off now …can somebody else sort this out please.
